Planting of the Chiswick Moran hotel, 2006

The brief was to provide a planting scheme in some way reminiscent of the West Coast of America. A Mediterranean planting scheme was decided on, to be planted in raised beds on the perimeter of the hotel

Truck loads of the best quality top soil available were brought in to ensure the long term health of the planting

Plant species included 9 Trachycarpus palms up to 4 metres tall. Other species included Nerium oleander, Pittosporum tobira , Yucca gloriosa, Strelizia reginae, Corokia cotoneaster, Callistemon, Dasilirion, Festuca glauca, and Choisya ternata. Finished all over with chopped green slate.
